Streamline your business with one of our ERP software solutions that help you to manage day-to-day business activities.
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software is used by companies to integrate the key parts of their business into a single, integrated application. It helps you to manage day-to-day business activities such as accounting, financial reporting, procurement, sales, inventory order processing, supply chain, service, and manufacturing. ERP solutions may also include CRM, job cost, HR, payroll, ecommerce, and business intelligence analysis tools.
ERP solutions should follow certain guidelines such that the financial and operation information they provide is more reliable and trusted, both internally and externally by banks, investors and tax authorities. They should not allow transactions (invoices, checks, deposits, etc.) to be reversed without an audit trail. They should only book double-sided entries, and their security / permission feature should enable proper separation of duties. They should also keep appropriate history for prior years.
When implemented with help from experienced professionals, ERP can significantly streamline and automate business processes, provide a real-time view of information across your entire organization, improve controls, reduce costs, enhance customer service, and more.
Each of the 3 products we offer and outline below provide full ERP capabilities to the end user.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, along with the other names in this product’s lineage (Navision and Dynamics NAV) is an ERP solution used by over 170,000 companies world-wide to automate and streamline business processes. Highly adaptable and rich with features, Dynamics 365 Business Central provides full ERP capabilities, based on the Microsoft SQL Server database.
Given it is developed by Microsoft, D365 Business Central easily works with the rest of the Microsoft family of products including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Automate (Flow), PowerBI, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint for document management.
Dynamics 365 BC is available either “in the cloud” aka hosted by Microsoft, or “on-prem” hosted by a Microsoft partner, 3rd party vendor, or your own IT personnel.
Business Central uses artificial intelligence to provide need to know information affecting operational supply chain information, financial trends, and cash flow. BC also searches LinkedIn (owned by Microsoft) and other social and news sites to provide the users with helpful insights about their customers, vendors, and business associates
Business Central is the latest version of Dynamics NAV, with additional features, and a more modern look and feel. It upgrades easily and is also has a great migration path when transitioning from GP (Great Plans), SL (Solomon) and QuickBooks, built by Microsoft.
D365BC is not directly sold by Microsoft, but through the partner channel by trained professionals who often have unique expertise in the industry of the client. Most partners can provide both remote and on-site implementation and training personnel.
Oracle NetSuite ERP
Oracle NetSuite, previously Net Ledger, is an ERP solution used by over 24,000 companies world-wide to automate and streamline their business processes. Highly adaptable and rich with features, NetSuite has full ERP capabilities, based on an Oracle database. NetSuite works well with Oracle-based tools such as Box for document management. NetSuite also works with Microsoft Excel, and Word.
NetSuite is available exclusively in the cloud, managed by NetSuite.
NetSuite is primarily sold by NetSuite Corporate employees as well as through the partner channel. The price, and discount, and any other benefits offered to the customer is mandated to be the same whether purchased from a partner or from NetSuite themselves.
There are many advantages to clients when ERP software is licensed and implemented by an experienced partner. These include: 1) the partner’s deep experience in specific industries in which they focus. This often speeds discovery and implementation time, provides more value and industry-relevant functionality and value, 2) the partner’s ability to come on-site for discovery, training, etc. 3) the accountability which the partner has for what was said or promised pre-sale and what actually happens post-sale, and, 4) the personal professional relationships with the partner which develop over time and result in an detailed understanding of your business processes. This knowledge carries over to phase 2 and the ability to recognize additional areas of the business for improvement with new tools.
When purchasing direct from NetSuite the sales presentations are very well scripted, come with a lot of corporate-made material, and are usually quite impressive. After the sale, the sales personnel are not available to the end user, their function is strictly sales.
