Management’s Fixed Assets solution
gives you a real-time, accurate overview of
all your fixed assets. You always know
the book value and accumulated depreciation of your assets. You can integrate Fixed
Assets with other Navision modules, such as General Ledger and
Purchases and Payables, to reduce data entry errors and easily reconcile fixed assets entries and postings.
Fixed Assets allows you to:
- Create and maintain flexible asset definitions
- Specify fixed assets as budgeted assets
- Set up assets as single entities or as a set of components
- Define an unlimited number of depreciation books for each fixed asset
- Define depreciation books for internal depreciation calculations
- Integrate books with General Ledger
- Define frequency of depreciation, such as monthly, quarterly or
yearly
- Make ledger entry lists for each depreciation book
- Define customized depreciation methods
- Monitor insurance coverage and annual insurance premiums of fixed
assets
- Allocate each asset to one or more insurance policies
- Index insurance amounts
- Record maintenance, service and expense information
- Integrate maintenance expenses with general ledger
- Allocate depreciation, gain/loss, or other types of entries to different
GL accounts
- Allocate depreciation of fixed assets to combinations of dimensions
- Reclassify a fixed asset or part of a fixed asset by moving it from one
classification to another
